What does a Sports-LITE Training Kit include?
The Sports-LITE Training kit comes complete with everything you need to set up the units including tripods, light heads, batteries and even carry bags. There are options to include fence post adaptors and multi-bank battery chargers to charge more than one battery at a time.
How high does the tripod extend?
The tripod is designed to extend up to 14ft and with an extra wide footprint is one of the most stable in the market, even up to 25mph winds!
What is the weight of a Sports-LITE head on a tripod?
The combined weight of the light head and tripod is <23lbs when fitted with the standard battery and <25lbs when fitted with the high capacity battery
Do the units come with carry bags?
The Sports-LITE comes with waterproof, padded carry bags as standard. There is a bag that fits 2pcs of the Sports-LITE light heads and a separate bag to fit 2pcs of the Sports-LITE tripod in. These are ideal for transporting and storing your Sports-LITE kits in to keep them in optimum condition for use.
What warranty does the Sports-LITE come with?
For peace of mind, the Sports-LITE comes complete with a 1 year repair and replace warranty on all electrical parts and 5 years on all metalwork.
What IP rating is the Sports-LITE?
The Sports-LITE is waterproof to IP65 and suitable for use in all training conditions.
How much space does a Sports-LITE take up in storage?
The Sports-LITE’s can be stored within average sized storage cupboards, club houses, small containers and other small storage areas that are available.
How long will the light bulb last for?
There is no light bulb. The light head is made up of multiple LED’s within a module which has been designed to be lightweight, efficient and to last longer than other light fittings on the market.
Do full instructions come with the product?
Yes each Sports-LITE Training Kit order will be delivered with an Operator’s Manual which will explain all details of how to operate the product. User set up video’s and the manual are also available via QR code directly from a sticker on each of the Sports-LITE light heads.

Is the Sports-LITE stable in strong wind?
The Sports-LITE is stable up to 25mph winds. An optional stability kit is available to increase stability in winds up to 35mph.
Can the Sports-LITE be used in rain?
Yes, the Sports-LITE is rated IP65 and is fully waterproof for normal outside use.
How long does it take to set up a set of Sports-LITE Training Kit’s?
Each pair of tripods can be setup with a single person in less than 2 minutes, even a full pitch of 14 lights can be setup in less than 5 minutes with 4 people!
Do I need ground pegs to secure the lights down?
No, the tripod is one of the most stable in the market and is rated to withstand winds of up to 25mph. There is an additional stability bag set available as an accessory to enable the Sports-LITE to be used in winds of up to 35mph, however the players may not want to play in these conditions!
Can 1 person set up the Sports-LITE Training Kits?
Yes it is possible for 1 person to set up the Sports-LITE training kits. Each pair of tripods can be set up with a single person in less than 2 minutes.
How do I know how much charge my Sports-LITE battery has?
Your Sports-LITE battery will show its state of charge (SOC) via the 5 LED display on the battery. When the battery power on button pressed, the LED’s will show the charge level. The single red (power on LED) and four green LED’s indicate the battery is fully charged at 100%. As the battery discharges the green LED indicators will gradually go out in approximately 20% stages. When the red LED indicator shows, the battery is low and those relying on the light should finish the task in hand so they aren’t suddenly left in darkness. At approximately 5% SOC the red LED will flash. When the battery is completely exhausted no LED’s will show until the battery is placed on charge again.
How long does it take to recharge the battery?
Ritelite offers 2 types of charger- a standard charger and a fast charger.

We recommend keeping your batteries fully charged ready for use.
Can I leave the batteries charging overnight?
You are able to charge the batteries in a well ventilated area at any time of the day when they are not in use ensuring the batteries will always be ready to use for that unexpected training session at all times.
What charger options are available for the Sports-LITE
Each Sports-LITE is delivered with a mains battery charger per light head as detailed in the table below. Multibank charger options are available to enable charging 5 units at once from one power socket

How long does the battery last for?
Ritelite offers 2 high energy density battery sizes for the Sports-LITE product to give either a 2h 20 minute or 4h 20 minute duration. For longer training sessions the batteries can be swapped if required to enable play to continue although in our experience this is rarely required.
What sports can the Sports-LITE be used for?
The Sports-LITE can be used for all outdoor sports and can also be used inside. The number of units required depends on the sport and the light levels that is required on the playing surface.
Can the Sports-LITE run for 4 hours?
Ritelite offers 2 size of power pack batteries for the Sports-LITE product including a 4 hour 20 minute duration option for longer training sessions.

Do I need a permit to use a Sports-LITE kit?
The Sports-LITE is a portable lighting system meaning it can typically be deployed without the permits, approvals, or permanent infrastructure often associated with fixed sports lighting installations. Requirements may vary by location, so we recommend checking with your local authority if you are unsure.
