How long does setup take?

Typically each Quad Pod K65 lighting tower can be set up in under 5 minutes per unit with one person; no tools required.

How can the Quad Pod K65 mobile sports lighting tower be powered?

The Quad Pod K65 can be supplied with either a 110V or 240V input plug enabling it to be flexibly powered by mains power or petrol or diesel generators.

What are the closed dimensions of the Quad Pod K65 product?

The closed dimensions of the Quad Pod K65 mobile lighting tower is 3.58ft x 2.72ft x 6.40ft (L x W x H). Compact enough to fit through a standard doorway, it can be moved easily by hand over almost any surface using its large, all-terrain wheels.

How bright are the Quad Pod K65 lighting towers?

Each Quad Pod K65 provides up to 266,000 lumens and can light a full size pitch to DIN EN 12193 standard for training or competition levels. Depending on level of play and training area different light levels are recommended.

Can the Quad Pod K65 Light heads be positioned in multiple directions?

Yes the Quad Pod K65 Light heads can be positioned from 180 - 360 degrees to provide maximum flexibility for use. The pre-aimed 180 degree setup ensures the light is spread uniformly and consistently from the edge of a pitch or court for maximum coverage. With the lights set up in a 360 degree configuration the lighting towers can be positioned to provide light across a larger area e.g. across multiple courts or training areas.

Can the Quad Pod K65 be moved and repositioned around our facility?

Yes. The Quad Pod K65 is designed as a mobile sports lighting tower that can be repositioned around training grounds, fields and sports facilities as requirements change. This allows organisations to light different training areas, protect heavily used surfaces and maximise the use of existing facilities.

How many Quad Pod’s do I need to illuminate an 11v11 full size football pitch?

For an 11 V 11 full size pitch we would recommend between 6 and 8 Quad Pod K65 mobile lighting towers, depending on the brightness level you wish to achieve. The Quad Pod K65 mobile lighting towers have a compact extendable design with a small footprint for easy storage and transportation. The product is easy to move and fits through doors and gateways enabling it to be stored in containers, halls or storage areas. 8 lighting towers can fit on a footprint of 3m x 2m.

What is the wind rating for a Quad Pod K65 mobile lighting tower?

The Quad Pod K65 is safe to operate in wind speeds up to 30 mph (48 km/h) when correctly installed with stabilisers deployed.

Do I need a permit or approvals to use a Quad Pod K65?

The Quad Pod K65 is a mobile lighting system and can typically be deployed without the permits, approvals, or permanent infrastructure often associated with fixed sports lighting installations. Requirements may vary by location, so we recommend checking with your local authority if you are unsure.

What does Beam Control mean?
