With a grant for Portable Floodlights, you can get funding up to £25,000 for new or used Portable Floodlights for use on artificial and natural turf training areas.

Sport England’s Together Fund Is a continuation of the Tackling Inequalities Fund set up in 2020 to support the sport and physical activity sector through the Covid-19 crisis

Stadium Funding

LED Floodlight Fund

Get up to 70% funding to install modern LED floodlights or upgrade your existing stadium lighting system.

England Rugby

Search through thousands of grants that could help your club. England Rugby have compiled some of the main rugby club funders to consider and have provided access to the RFU Grant Finder.

England Hockey

Modernise your current lighting system and future-proof your facility with affordable loans and expert support. England Hockey in partnership with Sporting Assets have introduced the Pitch Together Fund. A new scheme with a smarter approach to facility investment, designed to remove financial barriers and unlock capital to help your club think bigger about the future of your facility.

England Netball

Size of bids between £1,000 and £150,000 to improve existing sports facilities

Funded by England Netball and Government (via Sport England’s community asset fund)

Lawn Tennis

The LTA has partnered with easyfundraising to help tennis clubs source an extra income stream. Just ask everyone connected with your club (members, coaches, volunteers and friends) to use easyfundraising when they shop online with 4,000 leading sites, including Amazon, John Lewis and Just Eat.

Sport Northern Ireland

Sport Northern Ireland is the leading public body for the development of sport in Northern Ireland distributing funds on behalf of the Exchequer and The National Lottery. Sport Northern Ireland has outlined plans to invest £17.5m of its National Lottery funding into sports facility projects.

Scottish FA

In partnership with the UK Government’s Department of Culture, Media & Sport, the Scottish Football Facilities Fund offers investment for community football spaces supporting grassroots football facility developments. Project investments include upgrades to existing floodlights. A ‘partner, or match, funding’ approach is being adopted for funding that supports community football spaces, with 50% Scottish FA / 50% partner contribution the principal starting point.

Sport Scotland

The Sport Facilities Fund (SFF) supports capital projects that create or improve places where people take part in sport and physical activity.

Sport Wales

National Lottery funding for equipment and coaching courses. For not-for-profit sports clubs or community groups in Wales, offering up to £40,000 for floodlights.
You must contribute at least 10% of the total project cost. In general, for awards of:

• £300 to £25,000, we will fund up to 90% of the project costs
• £25,001 to £50,000, we will fund up to 80% of the project costs

London Marathon Foundation

London Marathon Foundation – Active Spaces Fund

Go! London is a collaborative partnership, funding projects that help underserved young people access sports and physical activity.

We fund projects in London that improve spaces and facilities and help the least active children, young people and underserved groups and communities to lead active and healthy lives.

Scottish Rugby

Scottish Rugby continues to invest in the Community Game through multiple funding streams.

The Club Sustainability Fund is split across two strands: Fast Track and Major Capital Investment, both offering up to 50% of the costs of maintenance or improvement projects designed to make club environments a better place to train, play or socialise.

National Lottery Community Fund

National Lottery offer funding from £300 to £10,000 to support what matters to people and communities.

Funding programmes for amounts over £10,000 are also available.

Cymru Football Foundation

Cymru Football Foundation’s Fit-For-Future Equipment Fund gives grassroots football clubs the opportunity to apply for funding towards equipment including grounds maintenance equipment, storage containers, security fencing and much more. The Fit-For-Future Equipment Fund offers grants of up to £30k with 2 application windows per year.

Oakland Foundation

The Oakland Foundation supports projects in Worcestershire, Leicestershire and Northamptonshire in supporting the needs of children through a range of educational and youth projects based on education, health, nutrition and sport.

School Funding

Sport England

Sport England offer up to £15,000 for physical activity projects in the community through The Movement Fund. The Movement Fund can be used to help provide equipment needed to help in getting more people active.

The support available includes grants or pledges from £300 to £15,000.

Active Partnership

Active Partnerships work across sport and community and can provide grant or bursary advise on which funds are available in your region.
